As long as you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and clicking your mouse button a few times… and stretching and squeezing an image or two, you can quickly make a cool looking 3D book cover online… for free.

Whenever you’ve got a piece of content, a lead magnet or product that you’re trying to promote having a cover can go along way in increasing its perceived value.

How To Make a 3D Book Cover

If you want to make a 3D book cover you are going to need 3 things…

A Cover – You’ll have to supply your own cover. If you need to get a cover done you can try, there’s loads of decent designers who’ll make a book cover for you from $5 up.

A 3D template – You can use the 3D cover template below that I made using Photoshop.

An image editing program – If you have Photoshop or any other decent image editing software you can use that. If not, you can use a free online image editing service called Pixlr

The first thing you need to do is download this template. Save the image below to your computer. The background is actually transparent which you’ll see once it’s imported into an editing program.
